The American Constitution Society is the largest student group at Yale Law School. ACS@YLS aims to foster community-wide discussion over progressive issues in American law and provide a forum for all members of the Yale Law progressive community to pursue their interests, educate the wider community, and bring scholars and practitioners together to find the best way to effect progressive change.
Throughout the year, ACS@YLS hosts a wide variety of speakers from the public and private sectors, fosters student-faculty interaction through reading groups and workshops on progressive theory, and provides current students valuable tools for excelling in both law school and their legal careers.
ACS@YLS is now on Facebook, check us out!

Please find below a link to a letter written and voted on by the Yale ACS board regarding House Resolution 4038 -- the proposed bill to create new restrictions on the resettlement of Iraqi and Syrian refugees. The board has voted to send the letter to the Democratic Member of Congress who support the bill tomorrow and disseminate it to the media. If you would like to add your names to the letter as individual members of ACS you may do so as well through the linked google form (anyone on this list counts as a member of the YLS ACS chapter!). The list of signatories will not be automatically made public to the press, but it will be included in a later email to the Wall at YLS.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to Zak and Conchita directly. Thank you for your time and support of this important progressive issue!
